Lunchtime Comment Club The LUNCHTIME COMMENT CLUB was formed in 1919 and is believed to be the oldest surviving London luncheon club. Meetings are usually reported on the Court Circular page of the Daily Telegraph. The Club’s objectives are to enable professional, business and retired people to meet with their guests and fellow Members for lunch and enjoy the stimulation of excellent and, at times, challenging and controversial speakers. We meet four to five time a year at the RAF Club in Piccadilly and proceedings normally finish by 3.OOpm. Currently 8 Old Stationers attend meetings |
WHMUG West Herts Micro Users Group meets on alternate Tuesdays at 7:30pm in the St Stephen Parish Hall in Bricket Wood - close to the junction of the M25 and M1. Arguably Hertfordshire's oldest established micro computer club (founded 1978), it provides help and assistance to users of personal computers, and will provide ideas for usage of computers, as well as arranging outings to technology related places. |
