The Old Stationers' Association is justifiably proud of its Membership, & particularly so of those Members from the early part of the 20th Century! It's very sad, though, that their numbers are gradually falling because of the inevitable advance of "anno domini".
Although our total OSA Membership is larger than the sum of these numbers, from each year's Intake we show the following Members...
1930 - 2 | 1940 - 5 | 1950 - 7 | 1960 - 13 | 1970 - 1 | 1980 - 1
1931 - 0 | 1941 - 9 | 1951 - 23 | 1961 - 20 | 1971 - 6 | 1981 - 0
1932 - 1 | 1942 - 7 | 1952 - 19 | 1962 - 31 | 1972 - 3 | 1982 - 0
1933 - 2 | 1943 - 5 | 1953 - 22 | 1963 - 15 | 1973 - 8 | 1983 - 0
1934 - 3 | 1944 - 13 | 1954 - 30 | 1964 - 18 | 1974 - 4 | 1984 - 0
1935 - 1 | 1945 - 10 | 1955 - 18 | 1965 - 12 | 1975 - 2 | 1985 - 0
1936 - 5 | 1946 - 14 | 1956 - 26 | 1966 - 6 | 1976 - 2
1937 - 6 | 1947 - 11 | 1957 - 10 | 1967 - 11 | 1977 - 1
1928 - 2 | 1938 - 4 | 1948 - 13 | 1958 - 15 | 1968 - 6 | 1978 - 4
1929 - 1 | 1939 - 4 | 1949 - 11 | 1959 - 5 | 1969 - 2 | 1979 - 1 |
So - from the table above you will see how many there are who seem to be missing from your intake year.
We are sure that each Member knows at least ONE Old Stationer who is not yet enjoying the benefits of the OSA - & If each Member only brought in one new Member from his Intake year, our Membership would DOUBLE!!!
Why not contact your old school-friends to suggest a reunion - & encourage them to join us in the OSA!!!
"Still you are Stationers, far as you roam..."
